Essence Lipliners

Essence, if this hasn’t become a household name lately than I don’t know what your excuse is, a brand that’s aims to keep all their products at ridiculously low prices while constantly giving amazing quality and at the same time continuously releasing new shades and products at least two to three times a year to spoil their clients ensuring that they have a huge selection and options to choose from. Now if that doesn’t scream LOVE I don’t know what does. Great prices, Great Quality and Huge selection, put my name on top of that list.

I cant stand the thought of paying R120 for a Lipliner, it is like a phobia. I do not know why but I guess…I mean seriously R120???? Maybe one day when I am big and a lawyer I can see myself paying that price but even then I still think I would lean towards my R20 Essence Lipliners. I Love these so dearly and I am sure you can assume that looking how short and sharpened they are and only when I decided on doing this post I questioned myself on why I only have three? But rest assured as I am definitely stocking up on these three and buying the rest. The quality is extremely amazing with the formula being rich and creamy gliding on with ease ensuring for precise application rounding it all off to a flawless, long-lasting lipliner. I have the following three shades:

  • #11 In The Nude
  • #24 Pretty In Fuchsia
  • #08 Red Blush

So I have my Nude, my Pink and my Red and I mostly use these three to create a basis for all of my most used lipsticks and lipglosses. My #11 In The Nude logically creates a good basis for all my nude lipsticks and glosses and even compliment my brown toned maroon like shades well. The #24 Pretty In Fuchsia creates more of a light pink toned colour than a Fuchsia tone but I love paring this lipliner with my pink shade lipsticks and lipglosses and even my nudes when I feel like just adding a hint of pink to a light nude. The #08 Red Blush Lipliner is a deep wine red shade which I love using together with my more darker reds and it even suits amazing with my plums and berry shades. As you can see all these Lipliners are very versatile and compliment a lot of different shades and tones. I use these everyday and would say that I am spoiled as the quality, pigmentation and texture of these Lipliners are beyond my expectations considering paying R18.95 for them. A Holy Grail product and a definite repurchase until the end of my existence.

[…] Well I know these are three separate items, well rather one item in three shades. I wouldn’t classify it as cheating and rather easier explained as asking a Mommy to choose between her three kiddies, besides for being near to impossible it is not fair. So yes my absolute must haves are my Essence Lipliners or as I call them: My Nude, My Pink and My Red. You can read more about these creamy, long-lasting and budget friendly Lipliners here. […]

[…] In the month of January I opted to try more bright colours and the Essence Lipliner in No15 Honey Berry was the most adored lip shade. It is a deep berry toned shade with amazing pigmentation and staying power. It did not dry out my lips at all. I really love Essence Liners and if you want to know more about these you can read my post Here. […]
