Coastal Scents Revealed 2 + Swatches

Coastal scents revealed 2

Whenever I get the opportunity to buy products not available in South Africa and they are at a very great deal I just hop on board as I need to get my hands on them. That happened with the coastal Scents Revealed 2 palette which is claimed to be a dupe for the Naked 3 palette (which I am still lusting for). I never new much about this brand so I did some research and I took the little plunge of buying it as I was really intrigued by the shades.

This c4

The palette has a cardboard casing and upon opening it has 20 beautiful shades ranging from shimmers, metallic and mattes. The top row is a definite dupe for the Naked 3 palette while the bottom row has more warmer, darker night time shades. So an A+ for versatility. I have rather mixed emotions on the quality of the shades as some are more bendable and creamy while others were chalky, but the staying power of them all were great.

As for pigmentation I found that some were more pigmented then others but 75% of them is really great in pigmentation so definitely something I can work with seeing that I only paid R100 + Courier so the buy did really not break the bank. The packaging is also really well put together and I love the mix of the oranges, nudes and pink, it is really pretty if you love opulent and eye catching packaging.

I just swatched some of the shades for you and as you can see from the pic above some are really pigmented and creamy like the matte shades. The darker shimmery shades are chalky and can tend to get patchy in the blending process. Excuse the lack of shade names as they did not add any – Beauty Blogger nightmare.

Overall I am happy with the palette and I find myself using it every other day. Would you but this palette? What shades attract you most?
