First and foremost – can we just take the time to welcome this amazing brand back to the South African shores? Nothing makes my heart happier then knowing the best is back.
I have been a full die hard since my mom met her nail technician 13 ago and she has done her nails every month for 10 years by the lovely Bonita. Bitter sweetly Bonita left her salon to en devour new, exciting and respectful paths, and she started a career with OPI.
My heart skipped a beat when I received an invite from literally the best nail polish brand in the world (more in depth review to come) invited me to there relaunch. Yes, I asked if my mom could accompany me and damn right, the PR was kickass enough to agree.
On arrival, a familiar face welcomed us, we digged in the most delicious canapes and then we got down to business.
Due to the launches, and the high volumes of products and all that goodness, I will be dividing the posts up. So let’s get down and dirty with the FIGI collection.
Inspired by the blue oceans, sandy beaches, tanned skin, and tropical fruits of FIGI, an stunning OPI collection was born. Ranging from bright shades, to the more toned down nude shades there are 12 polishes to choose from.
If you are like me, that despises bright, summary nails in winter, not to stress. Because we are approaching fall/winter soon, I narrowed it down to the top picks suited for the season.
Other shades include bright yellows, soft pinks, blue pastels, and turquoise greens. There is literally a shade for every gal.
OPI FIGI Collection Shade Names
So let’s round it off with the good stuff, the shade names, Left to Right:
