Africology: Renewing Facial Therapy

Afri1

I cannot express how much I love serums; they have to be my favourite products in the entire skincare routine, so without saying I was extremely ecstatic when Africology sent me their Renewing Facial Therapy Serum. I tested this product for a month as I really wanted to be able to see this product work to its full extent.

What firstly intrigued me about this product was that it is suitable for all skin types, that’s right; a one size fits all in skincare. The 30ml bottle will cost you R690.00 which does sound steep but trust me this is worth every penny. When Africology sent me this serum it was as if they heard my SOS because my skin at the time was immensely dry and dehydrated and nothing I used at the time seemed to work but only after a week of use, day and night, I started seeing results. My skin started feeling more revitalized and plump. After 2 – 3 weeks there were no signs of dryness and my skin was firm and my face was significantly softer.

I am very appreciative of skincare products that smell remarkable and the aroma of products is normally the fine line of me buying or ditching a product. The smell of this serum makes my heart skip a beat, it’s a strong muddy smell (you know that scent when it starts raining and the drops fall on the ground? This best describes is) with hints of Aloe Vera and Rosemary. The Serum itself also comes in an oily consistency which I know would scare a lot of people away but it absorbs extremely fast into the skin which impressed me abundantly and I have had no problems with my face looking oily during the day.

I love that this product and the entire Africology range is all natural and Eco-Friendly, they also do not test on animals and all products are produced in South Africa. I don’t know about you but “Local is Lekker”. Africology captured my heart as it is a brand that resembles Beauty with a Purpose, for the entire month of August all the proceeds on the sales of the Renewal serum went to Babies Behind Bars, a non-profit organization that assists mothers in prison whose children are born during their sentence. If you would like to read more about Babies behind Bars you can do so over here.

Overall I am really impressed with the Africology Renewing Serum as it has done wonders for my skin and I am really curious as to test their other products such as their Exfoliating Cream, Anti-Oxidant face Masque, Lipbalm, Showergel and Bath and Body soak. As you can see they have a great range of products and I can really appreciate that a brand values their customers so much that they take time to expand and serve options. If you would like to purchase any Africology products you can shop on their online site here or view any of their stockists here.
